Hey there lovelies, it’s me!

My name is Amanda, and I’m the face behind Colorfully Yours! I’m so excited for you and the exciting journey you’re on of planning an amazing celebration of love!

I’ve been in the event planning business for years- I’ve worked for multiple event venues in both Chicago and Virginia (I moved to the DMV in 2016), and started this little gem of an event planning company in early 2019. Colorfully Yours Weddings & Events is the culmination of a lifelong dream of owning my own business and creating my own path in this world, and it’s been the most rewarding, amazing experience- I still can’t believe I’m lucky enough to call this my job!

Why do I do this? I’m a sap, and truly love weddings and seeing two people celebrate the magic of their relationship (I know, cue the eye roll- but it’s true!). I usually cry as I am in my car headed home from each wedding because of how magical they were and emotional I am that it’s over! I feel so humbled and honored to be chosen by my couples to help with such a momentous occasion in their lives.

I’m married to a wonderful man that you may or may not see helping me out on a wedding site or at a vendor showcase (thanks for the love, help and support, Joshua!). I’m a crazy dog AND cat mom of 1 lovely kitty named Pepe that will surely grace your presence if we have a video call and two crazy golden retrievers, Dug and Gunner.
